DESCRIPTION:Talk by Dr. Emma Nicholls\, Oxford University Museum of Natural History \nAbstract:\nThe full-scale excavation in 2021 uncovered the largest near-complete reptile\nskeleton ever found in Britain. The animal nicknamed the ‘Rutland Sea Dragon’\,\nwould have been around 10m long\, in life\, and is thought to be the first confirmed\nrecord of its species\, Temnodontosaurus trigonodont\, found anywhere in the world\noutside of Germany.
